Measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 at the venue
To help ensure the safety of participants at the Automotive Engineering Expositions, measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 are being implemented based on the guidelines issued by the Japan Exhibition Association.
The main measures are as follows
-
-
Temperature checks at entrances
- The temperature of all participants will be checked at the entrances to the venues. Participants with a normal temperature will be provided with a sticker indicating that their temperature is normal. Only people displaying this sticker on their name tag will be permitted to enter the venues.
Different color stickers will be provided on each of the three days of the exposition.

-
-
Provision of hand sanitizer at entrances
- As well as providing alcohol hand sanitizer at the entrances, we will thoroughly disinfect locations that may be touched by customers.
-
-
-
Management of maximum capacities
and visitor limits - We will manage the maximum number of people allowed in a venue based on government guidelines.
-
-
-
Pre-registration of venue registrations
- To avoid congestion before entering the venue, registrations will not be accepted on the day.
-
-
-
Mandatory mask wearing by exhibitors
and relevant personnel - All staff that move in and out of the venues will be required to wear a mask.
-
-
-
Regular disinfecting of venues
- Venues will be disinfected on a regular basis.
-
-
-
Constant ventilation by keeping doors open
and through air conditioning - To improve ventilation within the venues, air will be constantly circulated into the venues from the outside via the air conditioning and ventilation equipment.
-
-
-
Social distancing
- Lines will be managed to ensure a proper distance between people.
Chairs in presentation venues, break rooms, and the like will be spaced apart from each other.
